Youth UnEmployment!

“Britain has the third-highest rate of young people not in work or education among Europe’s richest countries because of rising ill-health and a failing system of benefits and job support, a report has warned. The Resolution Foundation thinktank said the UK was facing a “crisis” in youth jobs amid a dramatic rise in the number of 16- to 24-year-olds who are not in education, employment or training (Neets) to almost 1 million – the highest level in more than a decade.”

This is a quote straight out of the Guardian News! A lot of people are frustrated, and the fact is, you can either sit and wallow and hope something happens, or you can start making something happen. No one is immune to what is happening to the jobs market at the moment. We are all caught up in it somehow. Whether you are 16-25, fighting to be seen and heard, or you’re a seasoned job veteran who can fill an application with your eyes closed. We are all being affected. More so, if you don’t have any plans, you’re probably just getting by on U.C, and you’re constantly under threat of losing every single penny as you work so hard to make sure you’re visible to all the right people and have at least one job application land you an interview.

But its time to put your DREAM right at the centre of your actions. Waiting is no longer an option and no matter the economic difficulties this is now the land of people who are either going to take action or wait to be so overwhelmed they will not achieve what they dreamed. We need you to know there is hope and it starts with the network and the people you consider your allies. Whatever the change needed we at PUSH THE DREAM believe we can ask the difficult questions and seek the difficult answers with you on this ongoing journey. Lets change the narrative of your story together.
